A bit about Zoe
Zoe is 18 years old and graduated from Palmview Special School.
True Colours is the first formal art class that Zoe has attended, however she has been a lifelong artist. She is a perpetual arts creator. If Zoe is at home she is usually doing art, either drawing, sticking or pasting! She spends hours and hours creating, often finding it difficult to stop. Zoe loves texture, and what starts as a 2D work becomes sculptural with layers and layers. She has even been known to walk and draw at the same time!

Zoe loves dogs and has her own business, Mutt Matters, making and selling dog biscuits. She lives in her own special house called 'Zoe's Home'.

BROWNE-MARTIN
A bit about Rex
Rex is 18 years old and graduated from Palmview Special School in 2023.
True Colours is the first formal art class that Rex has attended and while he is a true creative, he mostly enjoys the company and collaboration of other artists. He has enjoyed experimenting with all the differetn types of media, though his favourite is ripping and sticking tissue paper. Rex is great at directing the teachers and support staff with his hands and is a true collaborator with his work. He always has the final say with choice of colours!
Rex does his best work when his face is decorated with paint and the room is full of laughter, especially Sofia's. Rex's creative expression extends beyond the canvas to the entertainment of others.

SOFIA
GENTILE
A bit about Sofia
Sofia is 20 years old and graduated from Palmview Special School in 2023.
​
True Colours is the first formal art class that she has attended. She is very creative and loves playing with different techniques. She loves colour and has definite views on her colour schemes! Everybody's favourite moment was when she discovered the texture and pattern a fake apple would make with paint on her canvas.
Sofia is the chatterbox of the group. She loves making other members of the class laugh.
Sofia lives at home with her famiy and lots of pets. Her interests include aeroplanes, helicopters and Cadbury chocolate!

GRAY
A bit about Toby
Toby is 18 years old and graduated from Palmview Special School in 2023.
​
True Colours is Toby's first formal class in Art. He comes every week with enthusiasm and a smile. Toby loves learning new skills and is always very proud to show his friends in the class his work. Toby especially loves covering his canvas using a roller and encourages the other artists. He is also very encouraging of his friends during morning tea games!
​
When he isn't creating, Toby is enjoying the outdoors. He has his own business, tobyGco, helping people move and mowing lawns (look out for his wonderful branded car). He is an avid gym goer (which shows in the way he uses a paint roller) and bush walker. Toby lives with his family in Caloundra and his favourite place is Shelly Beach.
